Thriller ANGRY, starring Hollywood actor Bo Svenson

ANGRY is a new fast-paced thriller starring award-winning actor Bo Svenson from Quentin Tarantino's KILL BILL and INGLORIOUS BASTERDS. Svenson might be most known to the TV-audience as his highly acclaimed role as Sheriff Buford Pusser in the TV-series WALKING TALL from the early 1980's.

But Bo Svenson has also starred in many mainstream films as Clint Eastwood's HEARTBREAK RIDGE (1986), the Sandra Bullock success SPEED 2: CRUISE CONTROL (1997) and lately in Dolph Lundgren's hard-hitting action flick ICARUS from 2010.

In ANGRY, Bo Svenson is Bill – a real estate client looking to buy some new land, recently foreclosed and now up for grabs in the vast woods of Alaska. Together with Sandra (Yohanna Idha), he travels through the Dalton highway, only to find his destiny in the forests when they meet the former owner Danny (Christopher Stone).

ANGRY is a fast-paced adrenaline filled thriller which cleverly uses the current economic crisis as a terror drop-back.

Danny lost everything – and now he's back for revenge.

Yohanna Idha as Sandra was hand-picked to the role by producer/writer J. Pingo Lindstrom.

- She was our first and only choice. We're very happy that she accepted the role, which is physically tough and psychologically draining.

Yohanna Idha won the BEST ACTRESS AWARD at the Stockholm International Film Festival in 2011 – something that she really deserved for her roles. She was also nominated to the L'Oreal Paris Upcoming Star Award in 2011.

The movie was completely filmed in Sweden, which used its green forests as a substitute for the Alaskan woods. This was a clever choice to reduce production costs, but at the same time get the same environment.

Special care was taken to details as road- and car-signs, electric outlets and clothes. Everything needed to look authentic, and it really did.

ANGRY marks the first time an English-language film that takes place in USA was filmed in Dalarna, Sweden. The motion picture also marks the first Swedish produced film for Bo Svenson for over 30 years!

It's a land-mark movie that is special for the local community, but also has something to say about the current economic state of the world. This thriller will have you shaken to the bones! It's scary, dramatic, fun and exciting – everything a movie should be. First of all, it's pure entertainment.
